Benicia’s Annual 4th of July Parade

Hi Volunteers,

We’re thrilled to announce that Benicia Theatre Group will once again join the city’s annual parade—and we’d love for you to march alongside us! Here’s the plan:

• Meet Up & Float Decorating

• When: Saturday, July 3 at 12:00 PM

• Where: 941 Grant Street, Suite B

• What: Help us dress up our truck in full theatre flair!

• Line Up

• Time: Approximately 1:30 PM (we’ll head to staging right after decorating)

• Where: Second Street staging area

• Parade Position: TBD—but as soon as we have our placement number, we’ll share it with everyone.

• Can’t Make It for Decorating?

No worries! Feel free to join us anywhere along the route—most folks meet at the foot of First Street—and then march the rest of the way but feel free to jump in anywhere along the route.  We’ll be happy to have you!

Why join us? This parade is our first public chance to drum up excitement for our fall production of The Fantasticks, and your energy and support will make all the difference. Whether you’re hanging banners, handing out flyers, or cheering on the sidelines, you’ll help shine a spotlight on live theatre in our community.
