The story

John Smith leads a comfortable life, two of them actually. A London cab driver with two wives, two flats and a meticulously timed schedule, he has kept both worlds perfectly separate. Then a mugging lands him in hospital, both wives come running, and the lies begin to snowball at breakneck speed.

Ray Cooney’s classic British farce ran nine years in London’s West End and has been performed in over 30 countries. Find out why this fall.
