Just announced

Just announced, the BOTTG general membership voted to produce Lynn Nottage’s “SWEAT”, the Pulitzer Prize winning play for Literature. We are so excited to present a second play from this talented author, the first being “Intimate Apparel” last year. Also, the Spring 2019 show was selected and it is a fun comedy called “Social Security.”  The Director interviews have not been set yet. The Audition cast dates are not set either. If you are interested in being notified, please email me at beniciatheatregroup@me.com.

We have seen some excellent theatre lately. Our ARTY winning actress from “Intimate Apparel” Chelsea Bearce  performed in “Bamboozled” for Central Works in Berkeley- wonderful show!. Also, we saw Alan Coyne (from BOTTG’s “Same Time, Next Year” and “Dial M for Murder” shows) at Role Players in Danville in “Animal Farm”- another winner. Most recently, we went to ACT Strand Theatre to see “VIETGONE”- the best show this year! Dan and I were fortunate to see this incredible show when it was performed at our favorite venue (next to BOTTG) the Oregon Shakespeare Festival a few years ago. Fantastic cast and set design! Actually, we are going to see some familiar faces tonight for “Death of a Salesman” at Bay Stage Theatre in Vallejo. Love theatre!
